About the show
In 1989, Terry Burns founded Wedding Exhibitions Dublin (“W.E.D.”). In response to requests from Wedding Professionals and hotels to create a larger platform where they could promote their businesses, Terry launched the Bride of the Year Show, and later the Wedding & Honeymoon Show.
In 2018, W.E.D were delighted to welcome event management company, EventHaus, as event organisers of the W.E.D. flagship events, and chosen partner to steer the two Wedding Fairs into an exciting future and continued growth.
The appointment of Eventhaus as event organiser heralds a new era for The Wedding Show. W.E.D. are tremendously proud to have built the family-owned events into Ireland’s most successful and best-loved wedding exhibitions, and they look forward to growing the shows in partnership with EventHaus.

We are thrilled to announce that The Wedding Show at the RDS, in association with AURALIA, will take place on the 6th & 7th September 2025.
This is Ireland’s largest, most exciting and diverse Wedding event. Along with the opportunity to meet a wide variety of wedding specialists, there are live Catwalk Shows, I Do School workshops, a dedicated music mezzanine to listen to all of our music suppliers, as well as delicious samples to try, competitions to be won and a host of other activities to enjoy.
Our wedding specialists are all industry experts, from handcrafted jewelry to organic menus, from modern international hotels to ancient family estates, there is something for every couple at our Wedding Events.
