Artist responsibilities:

  • Nicowl will ensure that all sculptures are professionally installed, stable and safe for public viewing.
  • Nicowl retains full ownership of all artworks at all times.
  • Nicowl will assess and document the condition of each sculpture before and after the event.

Insurance:
All pieces are fully insured by IOMST Ireland.

Client responsibilities:
The client must supply power to light the installations. Cables are provided by Nicowl.
The client agrees to provide clear and safe access to the installation area for delivery, installation and removal.
The client must ensure that guests do not touch, climb on, move or interfere with the sculpture in any way.
The sculptures are artworks and are not designed to be handled by guests.
The client accepts responsibility for any damage caused by guests, third parties or unauthorised handling during the event.
Any repair or replacement costs resulting from damage, misuse, or interference will be charged to the client.

Further terms:

  • The wedding must take place between May and December in 2026, 2027, or 2028.

  • The wedding must take place in the Republic of Ireland.

Force Majeure:
Nicowl shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure results in events beyond reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to, acts of god, extreme weather conditions, fire, flood, extreme wind, accidents, pandemics, government restrictions, venue closure, or other unforeseen circumstances that make installation unsafe or impossible. In such cases Nicowl will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the installation or offer an alternative solution. No refunds are applicable on the case of this competition.
